Yoga Play Day

Spend the morning with your friends sharing imaginary and creative play experiences, songs, stories, yoga and relaxation. Yoga Play Day is designed to allow young children to experience a yoga class in a playful and fun atmosphere. This monthly class is a great way to try out a yoga experience. Parents are welcome to stay and join in on the fun.

Yoga Story Time

Yoga Story Time is a lively, active class designed for young children of all ages and their parents. Join us each month as we explore yoga through songs, books and stories. Each class begins with free play time and ends with a short relaxation. Yoga Story Time introduces yoga to young children by engaging their interest in imagination and movement.

Pajama Yoga

Kids should wear their pajamas (or comfy clothing) to this special
Friday night class! Gentle and relaxing yoga poses along with calming
breathing and visualization techniques will soothe your child before
bedtime. A healthy snack will be served after the class, then sweet
dreams to follow! What a great way to end a busy week at school.

Kids Yoga Workshop

Join us for yoga, art, music and games at the Kids Yoga
Workshop. Each workshop begins with a yoga class designed
just for kids then moves into "project time" where children
can chose form a variety of activities. Field trips to nearby
areas are part of the experience. Kids Yoga Workshops
allow children to learn more about the practice of yoga as
part of a fun and creative experience.

Yoga 101 - just for beginners

Three classes starting the first week in September

This class is perfect for the new yoga student wishing to start at the beginning and learn the foundations of yoga asana practice and philosophy.

Offered as a 4-week series of classes and specifically designed for those who are new to the practices of yoga the emphasis will be on developing body awareness - learning to notice and experience sensations in the body while doing basic yoga postures.

> increase flexibility
> improve your posture
> prevent injuries
> improve your mental outlook
> strengthen your immune system

No previous experience is necessary. This class is for every body type, level of strength and flexibility. Come as you are.

Family Yoga

Come move your body while practicing yoga poses, breathing,
and relaxation in a child-centered class built for fun and
fitness. Family Yoga provides the opportunity to learn
about your body and to connect for family fun. Stories,
games, partner poses and imagination are used as elements to
make yoga fun and inviting for children.
